Visit the famous Sawa-i-Lau Limestone Caves

The Sawa-i-Lau caves are an experience you will forever treasure and one that will provide you with that rare sense of accomplishment, adventure and just a bit of trepidation. As you exit these mystical caves you will feel that you have been bound and linked with old gods, new friends and Mother Nature in a uniquely Fijian experience.

Climb aboard one of the boats departing to the caves 3 times a week on Mondays, Wednesday and Friday’s and experience something that only those who travel to the Northern Yasawa Islands get to experience. Swim, float, swim through and explore your way through the majestic Limestone walls and immerse yourself in Fijian nature and the raw beauty these caves have to offer. Cost: FJ$59 per person (inclusive of cave entrance fee)

Paddle Boarding

Try some paddle boarding on one of the calmest bays in the islands.Imagine paddling and looking down to see fish swimming, coral reefs and champagne sand

Treat yourself to an amazing relaxing massage in our purpose built massage hut. The massages are done by the local ladies who have grown up with massage been an integral part of daily life. Their hands are considered to be healing and you will definitely come away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Join one of our local staff on a hike across some of the most serene hills found in the islands. You will experience unsurpassed views and stories as you are lead to your destination, bring your cameras for your view across the blue lagoon and Yasawa Island Group.

Fishing Trips

The local boys from the resort happen to know all of the hot spots for some great fishing. We have chartered fishing along with hand line fishing. The hand line fishing allows you to experience a trip with our skilled fishermen, as you make your way to the fishing spot, you will be in control of your own lines and luck. Local Walu is in abundance along with mahimahi and coral fish. We even offer to bake your fish for your lunch the next day, served with fresh salads and rice, you get the chance to show off your catch!

Village Visits

Several times a week we take a trip over to Nacula Village where you get the chance to see a traditional Fijian village for yourselves. The ladies will display their handicrafts at the craft market for you to pick up some gifts for home, at the same time supporting the local families with income from their crafts.

Resort Activities (Night)

Each night is different at Blue Lagoon and offers a different experience from the laid back movie under the stars, to the beach bonfire party, we are sure that you will find enough to get you into the island way of life night time activities include :Movie Nights Crab racing Quiz nites Volleyball Challenges Traditional Fijian Dancing and singing Oceanside Dinners on the beach Kava Time with the band boys

Other Activities

Basket Weaving Try this timeless craft for yourself at one of our weaving demonstrations. The art has been passed down thru generations and is still a major part of daily life in the village.Hair Braiding Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have your hair braided island style ? This is your opportunity to have the ladies braid your hair, start at one, or stop at 100, your choice!

Teresia’s Tea Party

Join one of the Island’s most loved characters and learn how Teresia bakes village style, enjoy stories of years gone by in the village and sip on home made lemon tea.

Snorkelling Trips

Daily snorkelling trips offer you a chance to experience different coral formations, marine life and waters. The day comprises of many snorkelling stops around the island of Nacula and stops at some of the worlds most re-known locations. We have you back at the resort in time for lunch!

School Visits

As we believe in the future of the people of Fiji, we have worked with the local people of Nacula Village to introduce a scholarship fund that serves to ensure the education of the children continues. The funds cover school tuition, supplies and lodging for the children. Along with your kind donations, we are able to provide the scholarship.
